Seasoned steak. – can either be put directly into crock pot or seared first in a skillet. Non seared will be more like roast.
Add potatoes, onions, carrots, garlic, celery etc in the next layer using either foil or parchment paper between. You can add tomatoes or a can of tomatoes for extra flavor.
Steak can also be tenderized with spices first.
Pour broth or water over the ingredients in crock pot filling about 1 in the bottom.
Cook slow 4-6 hours.
Egg noodles can be added at the end.
