When we were young marrieds and living next to each other, we had open house every year and we made snacks and got to see each others homes dressed up for the holidays.  Donna made this dip and I loved it.  We had such a wonderful time in those days when our kids were little and we and several other friends all lived on the same street.  Those were the good ole days!
